Expertise is earned — not self-declared.
Creators Connect is a curated network. These standards describe who can join and how mentors work with the people they meet.
Who can join
Mentors should meet at least one of the following:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- 7+ years plus leadership responsibility
- Director level or above
- Founder with meaningful operating experience
- Recognized specialist with a strong body of work
Review
All mentors are reviewed before a profile is published. Approval for the general marketplace does not include approval to work with minors.
Working with young people
Youth-facing professionals are separately approved for school programming. See Youth Safety.
Sessions
Sessions are booked and arranged through Creators Connect. Mentors receive each participant’s goal before the session, and participants are asked afterwards whether the session answered their question and whether they know their next step.
